Flat Rate vs. Actual Time
Mechanics often get paid based on "Flat Rate" (the estimated time a job should take) rather than the actual clock time. This log helps you track efficiency:
- Flat Rate Hrs: The billable time allowed for the job.
- Actual Hrs: How long it really took you. (If Actual < Flat Rate, you are beating the book!).
- RO Number: Link every hour back to a specific Repair Order for payroll auditing.
